It is always a joy for me to see my kids and give them hugs.
![]() Change is good and recently I made a big change in my appearance. I have gone funky red in my hair. It all started by accident. I went to my hair dresser and she started applying the dye. We were chatting and all of a sudden she said, "I think this product isn't the right one. It looks too red." I said, "Well I was thinking of going more auburn, maybe it will be OK." Since she had half my hair done, she said, "I'll just apply the rest and we will see how it turns out. If it is too red, I will adjust it." Low and behold when she rinsed off my hair and we looked at it together. We began laughing hysterically. It was clown color red - it couldn't have been brighter! Well a few hours later with an assortment of brown tones mixed together, my hair came out funky red, but OK to go out in public. Since then we have experimented with different colors and it is still "Sharon Osborne red." I enjoy the compliments and the attention. Haven't had much of that in recent years. Getting old is a road only brave can travel. No one likes to be reminded that you are an old Granny with no zest left, it is fun to feel invigorated and alive. Besides the new color brings out my brown eyes, I am told. The one comment that gave be pause was when Fr. Nathan asked me when I was getting my tattoo. Hmmmm another thing to ponder... should I or shouldn't I? I will keep that thought on the back burner for another day. ![]() In September Chris, Greg and Cheri came to Gardnerville during the Candy Dance weekend. Chris, Greg and Cheri went on a bike ride and had fun. We got together with them later. It is always a joy for me to see my kids and give them hugs.
