Yikes, it is already January 8th. It is cold and rainy here and there is forecasts of flooding in our area. Praying for those who will have damage that they will recover quickly. Had some contact during the busy holidays from a distant relative with info about my family tree. I will pursue it now that the Noel Christmas Day Dinner is over and I will have more time to do research and update my trees on Ancestry.com. We've also been successful in finding out unanswered questions about my children's father lineage. Two of my children have taken DNA tests and we found a link to their dad's family which was previously unknown.
The 18th Annual Noel Christmas Dinner was a great success with 178 people (guests and helpers) attending. The meal was tasty and the atmosphere joyful. Love seeing so many smiling faces. I will post pictures below.
On January 4th Sister Linda and Sister Lydia came from their monastery in Phoenix, AZ to officiate our renewal of vows and accept 4 new oblates into their community with our group.
Welcome 2017. may it be a blessing to many and a year to bring peace and good health to all.
