![]() All went well yesterday. In the morning Ron and I visited daughter, Keri and Eric's home for breakfast and to visit with grandsons, Steve, his wife and baby and Eric Jr. Then we headed to St. Gall Church for the 16th Noel Christmas Day Dinner for those without family. The day went smoothly. We had 205 people check in for the dinner and to help. We could not put on this dinner without the help of the Chef, Dave Aymami (pictured with me on the left). He does a great job and we are so thankful to have his committment to serve the last 3 years. Hope he can do it again next year.

Wishing all my friends and family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. This is a photo from previous Noel Christmas Day Dinner. Tomorrow we prepare food, set up tables and decorate to prepare for 235 guests and helpers on Christmas Day for the dinner. Hope everyone has a great Christmas this year and take the time to cherish the memories.
![]() December is upon us and time is short to get everything done before Christmas. I have been on the run every day taking calls for the Noel Christmas Day Dinner, wrapping packages, making mailing labels, writing Christmas cards, going to luncheons for Christmas celebrations (had two already). Today our new senior center is having an open house, tonight is the parade of lights down main street, there is so much going on right now. Last Friday, we met my son, Greg and his wife Cheri for dinner at the CVI. It was great to get together and hear good news. Greg asked Cheri to take this picture to send to his pastor Fr. Dan since Fr. Dan always asks him if he has seen his mother. (Fr. Dan was at our parish when he first came to our diocese and we became friends.) |
